The start of a veggie patch in May had me find my grubby paws on a galvanised steel watering can. A month later I realise it (watering can at the bottom) was probably intended for decoration and not daily use. So, I happened upon a vintage watering that looks like its been through quite a bit. But the best part about this one (second from the bottom), was that it didn’t leak and it didn’t look like it would break soon. Well, if it does, I’ll find a way to try mend it. Beginning July my MIL gifted me with miniature watering cans and hubs bought me another ‘because you collect watering cans’. Funny how they all ended up here. I think they can call this spot home.

Do you have a collection? How have you displayed yours?

Look at what I found at Grand Hotel Antiques in Long Street, Albertsville. One more metal watering can and I'll have myself a collection. Once I've sanded and painted (or just a white wash?) the little stool, bathing the girls in the bath shouldn't be back breaking business. Of course, the little stool will come in handy if there's little munchkins that need a bit of extra height around the house. Handy finds if you ask me.
